The Austrian IWKU Wado Children Cup of the 2008 year will be organized in St.Pölten – Austria (Near to Vienna International Airport). Our purpose is to make contact between wado stylist and present a high level tournament prepering the WUKO Children World Championship in Caorle Italy in Oktober 2008.

Rules: We use the last WUKO kata rules for seniors, adults, juniors, cadets. In children cathegories will be two rounds (with different katas, both pinan could be). Kumite rules by WUKO shobu-sanbon (with 2 minutes), children cathegories (under 16) by the rules of running time and sanbon-ippon (up to 3 point).
Rules of the team-superfight: 3 competitors each team, Only one 5 minutes long fight Running time, not stopped at 6 waza ari Points are collecting to the end Trainers can changed their competitors at any time when the referee stops the fight, but: The fighter must be ont he shiai at least 30 second (running time) each, And each fighter (all three members of the team) must be in once (or could be more ) Jogai and contact penalties are added like the whole team could be one person (for example first fighter get an atenai for contact, the first contact penalty of the second competitors must be chui… etc.) Coach must contoll the running time, too and will get a flag to show his will to change competitor. |
